You wake up early, you can feel the cold fresh air deep in your lungs, your muscles are tired, your eyes are adjusting to the low light, and you’re standing on a hill top in front of the mighty Himalayas as the first ray of sun falls upon them.

As the sun rises the white reflection of snow changes into a magnificent golden colour. Both your body and mind can feel the warmth of the rising sun, and the significance of where you are runs through your veins.

Sunrise is always mesmerising. But with the background of Himalayas as you stand in the hilltop, it’s even more prodigious.

Annapurna Sunrise Trek is an easy and rewarding trek for travel enthusiasts. The trekking route is similar to Poonhill Ghadruk trek.

The trek bestows city heritage tour, panoramic Mountain View, and the pristine natural scenery.

The views of mountain peaks such as Annapurna I, II, III and south, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchre, Lamjung Himal, etc accompany us throughout the trek.

The villages like Ghandruk and Ghorepani are blessed with a unique culture. The sub-tropical vegetation of Oak, Pine, maple, and Rhododendron makes the trek even more beautiful.

And if you are lucky, you might also spot some wild animals in the forests.

Annapurna Sunrise Trek covers only a short distance within 10 days. So it’s relatively easier than other treks to the Himalayas of Nepal.

Trip Overview:

The journey of the Annapurna sunrise trek begins from Kathmandu. After exploring the valley for a day, we head towards Pokhara.

Pokhara is another beautiful city that offers a stunning sunrise view. From Pokhara, the journey moves ahead to Nayapul. This is where the trek begins.

Then, you trek through the small villages such as Birethanti, Ulleri, and Ghorepani. From Ghorepani, we hike to Poon Hill for the most beautiful sunrise view.

From Poonhill we trek along a beautiful route towards the village of Ghandruk.

After some time in this village, we trek down to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara. Then we drive back to Kathmandu – your journey is completed.
