Youin’s Manaslu Trek in the Himalayan region of Nepal is a laborious walk. The trek takes you into the shadows of Mount Manaslu (8,160m), the 8th tallest mountain in the world.

Manaslu Circuit Trek is amongst the most difficult treks and but also one of the most rewarding in the Himalayans.

Manaslu, meaning intelligence or soul is among the most imperative mountains of the Himalayas range. Climbing to the base of this mountain is not an easy task.

On the Manaslu circuit trek of 17 days, you get to leap headfirst to the most amusing mountains in the Himalayas.

Your trek passes through Manaslu Conservation Area and is the primary habitat for Himalayan Thar, Blue Sheep, and snow leopards.

As you pass the beautiful local villages, you will encounter the lush undergrowth and get to cross the flowery meadows.

On the way, you cross the local community of Nupris. This friendly community will help you learn about the lifestyle and culture of mountain people.

We will also visit some ancient Buddhist Shrines such as Mu, Rachen Gompas, and Shringi Gompa during your trek.

Trek Overview:

Our journey to Manaslu commences in Kathmandu. After some sightseeing in the place, you drive towards the place called Arughat.

Arughat is the entry point of Buri Gandaki Valley. Then, we will walk towards Samagaon. Afterwards, we walk towards the Manaslu Base Camp.

We cross a demanding section – Larkya La Pass at 5,160m. The pass offers extravagant views of Annapurna, Mt. Manaslu, Himalchuli, etc.

Later the trails join the Annapurna circuit trek at Dharapani and then drop to Besisahar.

If you wish, you can also continue trekking in the Annapurna region.

Important Notes

1, The Manaslu Circuit trek is itself termed as a difficult one. Most areas can be easy to travel to, but we have some challenging spots to overcome.

It is rated 4 for the difficulty level out of 5. Consequently, you will need good strength.

Of course, we will always be there to guide you in every step. But you will also need some training and exercise practice and good health.

Since we will be trekking at a high altitude, you need to cope with the lower level of oxygen.

Manaslu Circuit Trek takes you to the restricted region. Thus, one needs a special permit for the trek. The permit can be obtained from the local company.

Besides the Manaslu region permit, you will also need ACAP and MCAP permits. To get the permit, you need a minimum of two trekkers besides your guide.

Autumn (Sep-Nov) and Spring (Mar-May) are considered the two best times for trekking in this region.

Trekking in Manaslu needs both camping and tea-house accommodation.

The trail is relatively new and yet unexplored and perfect for the adventurer in you.

2, The tour price is not included extra night accommodation in Kathmandu in case of early arrival, late departure, and early return from the mountain (due to any reason) other than the scheduled itinerary.
