Arrive at Surprising Cave (Hang Sửng Sốt), explore the cave and find out how the cave was named a Surprising.

Heading to Titop island area. drop anchor in the calm water surrounded by beautiful islets. Visit Titop island for swimming and snorkeling or do the short trek to the top of island to have the overview of Halong bay from here.

Immerse yourself into the cosmopolitan nightlife of this busy city by night. Soak up the energy of this urban metropolis at our central city location while watching the world go by we sip on our first drinks and try out some tasty snacks.

Your expert driver will then zoom through the busy streets of Saigon as you check out some of the famous highlights in this bustling city.

Feel like a local as we feast on authentic, fresh seafood dishes, eating street side and then enjoy the local favourite that is the delicious Banh Xeo, a traditional Vietnamese savoury pancake. We then ride off into the night again to experience live music at two very different venues.

Firstly, the laid back atmosphere of quieter, softly lit coffee shop before heading to a lively rock bar where a new generation of Vietnamese flaunt their style. Bring a healthy appetite and a sense of adventure as our guides show you their city by night.

  If you have never visited Saigon – the city on the move, then it is a good idea to discover this city by motorcycles. Get well prepared that the traffic moves in a different way that at home. The roads are always busy with motorbikes, cars and buses. But take it easy, Saigonese knows how to handle all the turns. You will sit behind experienced drivers who understand their vespa and the traffic like the back of their hands. Only by sitting on a motorcycle that you can zig zag through the narrow alleys, bustling residential area to capture the real night life of Saigonese.

From Saigon, take a 2hr drive northwest to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an immense network of connecting underground tunnels started in 1948 to protect the Viet Cong guerrillas from the French air and ground sweeps. The tunnels also served as living quarters, communication and supply routes, and housed hospitals, food and weapons caches. Touring the underground compounds will provide a better understanding of the history of the tunnels, the hardship of life in the tunnels and the Vietnamese resilience during combat. Return to Saigon.

Morning drive to Wat Pho – one of the oldest temples in Bangkok, Wat Pho houses the famous 45m (148ft) reclining Buddha as well as the original school of traditional Thai massage. From here, take a tuk-tuk ride via Pak Klong Taland Flower Market towards the spectacular Grand Palace, home to the most revered Buddha image in Thailand, the Emerald Buddha (which is actually made of jade or jasper, rather than emerald). Continue with a walk to the pier for a long-tailed boat ride along the “klongs” (canals) of Thonburi to get a flavour of local life.Stop at Wat Arun, once the grand royal temple to King Rama II. After lunch at a local restaurant, cross the river and drive to Chinatown for a first-hand look at Old Bangkok. Walk along Yaowarat Road with shops selling everything from gold and garments to antiques and musical instruments. Explore the bustling Talad Kao Market where a variety of food, fresh and dry fruits, and Chinese herbs are on offer before returning to your hotel.

Today’s tour guide will take you to the “standing newspaper” where your guide will tell a fascinating story of a time when newspapers were considered a luxury in Hanoi.

Next, stop at a local coffee shop to observe the rush of daily life in the Old Quarter, before transferring to Gioi Market – the corner where thousands of trade goods are sold. From kitchenware to motorcycle parts, this market has everything!

Continue your exploration by driving to the rail station in a Hanoi suburb and catch a local train back to the city centre. After a 10-minute train ride that passes over the first French bridge built on the Red River, finish the tour by having lunch at a vintage Vietnamese restaurant decked out in 70’s décor that will take you back in time to a recently liberated Hanoi.

Eating on the street is a very typical activity for Hanoians and makes up an important part of the city’s unique culture. Depart from the hotel at 09:00 and take a walk with our tour guide to the Old Quarter. Our first stop is to taste Pho Bo (beef noodle soup) at a local restaurant located on a narrow street in the Old Quarter. After savouring this quintessential Vietnamese cuisine, visit the wet market and explore the hundreds of weird and wonderful foods for sale, a colourful snapshot of Hanoian daily life. Walk from Hang Be Market to a little shop selling many different types of traditional northern cakes such as Com cake (young rice), where most of the old Hanoians never forget their childhood memories of eating these cakes with friends. Next stop is a little “Banh Cuon” shop to see how these tasty morsels are made and to try a few along the way! Leaving the bustling streets behind, your guide will take you to small “tunnel” in Noi Mieu alley to discover lives of residents in the Old Quarter. Take the opportunity to capture this authentic environment with a photo or two – Hanoi is a rapidly modernizing city and what is here today may not be tomorrow. For lunch, stop at a popular crossroad restaurant for Bun Cha and crab spring rolls. With our savoury appetite sated, go on the hunt for “che” – a sweet soup which is a typical Hanoi desert. Finish the trip at a café in the old quarter for a traditional Vietnamese egg coffee.

The flat, quiet roads around Hoi An are ideal for exploring by bicycle. Your adventure starts with a short boat trip crossing the river from Hoi An and you will have a chance to take photographs of many fishing boats and country villages. On arrival, start cycling along quiet inland trails to discover how wooden river boats are made, learn the secret of weaving the colorful straw “Hoi An” sleeping mats. Try the renowned Vietnamese basket boats. You will observe the workers in the rice fields. And explore the sumptuous landscapes and meet wonderful people. You may wish to stop Tra Que Vegetable Village to observe local farmers working the organic fields using traditional methods that date back hundreds of years. The rich soil from this village produces some of the most flavor some vegetables and herbs in all of Hoi An. If you don’t mind getting your hands dirty, spend time to help water the plants or fertilize the land before cycling back to your hotel.

Set in three acres of lush tropical gardens, Red Bridge cooking school is one of the highlights of the culinary scene in Hoi An. Meet up with your chef at Hai Café in the old town for a brief introduction and a welcome drink. Meander through Hoi An’s central market with your chef to enjoy the sights, sounds and aromas. This is your chance to learn about how to select fresh produce and ingredients essential for Vietnamese cuisine. Embark on a 20 minutes boat trip to the school. Get your camera ready as the cruise offers glimpses of local river life. Upon arrival visit the school’s herb garden before enjoying a private hands-on cooking class. After the lesson, sit down and eat what you have created in the lovely restaurant overlooking the river.

Between the 15^th and 19^th centuries, Hoi An known then as ‘Faifo’, was a prosperous trading port, attracting Chinese, Japanese, Dutch, Portuguese and Spanish ships amongst others.

Today, this World Heritage ancient town is recognised for its well-preserved architecture, pedestrian-only streets and distinctive local cuisine, allowing visitors a glimpse of its illustrious past.

Hoi An’s narrow lanes are ideal for a guided walking tour of its many atmospheric sights including: the old merchant houses with influences from Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese architecture; the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, first built in the 1590s by the Japanese community to link them with the Chinese quarters across the stream; the Assembly Hallof the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation with its intricate woodcarvings; and the colourful market with stalls brimming with local specialties including silk, which can be turned into fashionable garments within a day or two.

Silk lanterns, the simple yet colourful handicraft is now an essential part of Hoi An culture. The lantern is inspired and hand-made by local artisans and is meant to bring good fortune. It has really made a comeback thanks to experienced men who were born in traditional lantern making families. Chat with a local handicraftsman for a brief introduction to the history, shape, and colour of the lanterns as well as the stages of production. Try creating your own lantern and take it home as a souvenir.
